Due to BP I was only able to sit one unit at university, Literature and Social Change, while I also did some part-time work. During this semester I had a depressive episode that lasted about 2 months(started just before semester). I was ok for about a month then was hit with bad PTSD that led into mania. It was at the beginning of this episode that I sat my exam. God know how I actually managed that but today I got my grades.,

I got 83% in both the exam and unit in total. I was so surprised. Sure, I had studied hard while well but in that last epidote I was near delusional by the time I sat the exam. Seems i had just enough rationality left in me. Not bragging, just so happy and surprised. I mean, technically I should be pulling this off for all four units but this is the best I can do with my illnesses.

Awesome job! When I was severely depressed I only managed a 79.3. Seven tenths of a point away from passing! Had to take the whole class over again. At least I passed this semester with a 95. But that's only bc I'm stable. An 83 while unstable is amazing!

How is 79.3% not a pass?

Here you only need 50% to pass, 50-60% are a 'pass', 60-70% a 'credit', 70-80% a 'distinction' and above 80% a 'high-distinction'.

Congrats! School + BP is rough (understatement). I'm working on my PhD and it's a miracle that I've manage to progress at all.

It's just the particular program I'm in. It's a post baccalaureate certificate program for a teacher of students with disabilities certificate. I don't know why but they mandated that you have to get an 80 or better to pass the class.

I know and it was mostly because my professor was a **** and wouldn't let me make up the discussion questions I missed while in the hospital. I don't think he really believed me when I said I was in the hospital without computer access because I didn't specifically explain it was a psych ward. He probably thought I was lying. He also graded my final project really harshly. I only got a 22 out of 40. So I failed it. And I just don't DO failing work. I think he was just being an asshole because he thought I was lying.

I had some bad professors too.
Trigger.
In the old days hitting on students was the norm.
I did something different though that was a great experience.
A year in Mexico at the university there. Great experience.

That's great! During my worst mixed episode in undergrad, I got a 4.0 that semester. No idea how that happened. Sometimes we surprise ourselves with what we can accomplish despite our hardships.

Wow, thats impressive! It is amazing what we can accomplish sometimes. For this semester I was deeply depressed, then had severe PTSD that triggered a severe mixed manic episode...or something like that. The depression is hardest on the study but by the very end of semester my PTSD and mania were making it equally difficult to concentrate and function as I was delusional and disorganised. I think I got heaps done while hypomanic and that carried me through.
