My youngest and I are in choir at church together. When I was his age I really liked this group called The King's Singers. Now he likes them. So today he checks online to see if their concert in town is sold out tonight. Nope. I got out my card and bought two tickets. Cheap ones but still not a well-thought-out purchase. We are going at 8 but getting there early to pick up the tickets. Merry Xmas to us. Felt a little guilty for a spur of the moment purchase is my point but it was only $34. We may get dinner on the way.

Perfectly reasonable purchase at a perfectly reasonable price given the price of most high-end concerts.Enjoy.

Sounds like something my mother did last weekend after I got out of the hospital. She decided at the last minute to buy tickets for us to see the musical HAMILTON. I won't even tell you how expensive the tickets were.

$35 isn't bad for an evening of entertainment, plus your making a memory with your son!

I'm waiting for him to get home. (He went to run a 5k). We will leave then. Antsy that he get here soon!
