Back when I first started wellbutrin, I had some nights of insomnia. But it went away. Now last night it happened again. Then I managed a 2 hour nape in the mid afternoon. I'm wondering if I will be able to sleep tonight again.

I've decided to try hard and not nap during the day or evening when I get home from work. I too have enough troubles sleeping at night.

It's just after 9. I set a TV show to record instead of watch it and I'm in bed. I hope I can sleep.

I hope it works!!! If I take a nap, I always have a bad night's sleep. As much as I want to nap sometimes, I always try to avoid it.

Do you take the 2x daily, SR wellbutrin? I do, and sometimes I'll feel a bit jittery at night if I take my 2nd dose too late at night.

I try to take my Wellbutrin as early in the morning in one dose. If I take it in the afternoon I don't sleep well at night.

I've struggled a lot in the passed. I definitely do not take a nap. I tried everything, but the only thing that worked consistently in the end is to just let it be what it will be. If I lose a night, I lose a night. Not worrying about it helped me sleep much better. Also, being manic even a little bit affects sleep as well. Addressing that helps.

I remember one dark night when I just couldn't stand the idea of missing another nights' sleep, I took melotonin, dramamine, prescription sleeping pills, clonopin, and 4-5 glasses of whiskey. I didn't sleep a wink and I felt sick the whole next day. That's when I decided NO MORE. I slept peacefully the next night and most nights after. Once in awhile, I'll take a couple of benedryl, but mostly I'm good.
