What should I do? My best friend works at a bar and the other best friend is 1000 miles away. This day is special to me cause it'll be 3 years since my suicide attempt and my birthday. I don't want to be alone.

Why make an anniversary of it. If I don't look in my blog for the dates- and actually do a search- I don't know my sui attempt dates. In fact I may not have posted about them all.

Can you have fun just staying home? Do you have Netflix or cable? Find a good movie or watch the bathroom channel. (Right now they're showing ancient civilizations and aliens. Seriously. Me and aliens and angels when I'm psychotic. Yup. So far hadn't triggered me.)

I'm personally a fan of pubs and bowling. There's also mini golf and movies. Treat yourself tonight and take yourself out on a nice date.

I'm getting a newsletter on my Eml. I haven't tryed it yet but it's called meet- up.
They meet at comedy clubs. Restaurants. Live music events. When I'm more stable and in the states I'm going to try it. Or you could get an online date. Do you live in a big city? Church? Book club?

I'm sure I don't look great - heck most of us here have probably gained weight from meds- but I just don't look in the mirror. You can make friends based on your personality not your waist measurement.
