Hi everyone. Well, the day is finally here ... my SSDI hearing (it's been over 3 years getting to it). I'm on my way over there, on bus first to lawyers, then they are going to drive me (TG, because it eliminates fear of getting lost).

I'm terrified, but also kind of numb, mixed with waves of tearing up. SO much is riding on this. Everything, really.

Please, any good thoughts would be extremely appreciated.
Hugs from:

Thanks, everybody!

The lawyer said she thought it went well. Here's hoping she's right!

Now it's down to waiting for the judge's decision letter. (Alas, yes, another wait.) The other guy I was working with said it's usually 3-4 weeks, but the one who was in the courtroom with me today said it could be months what with the holidays(!) Hope it's the earlier time frame.

Well, one thing. It's out of my hands. Appointments, paperwork, (attempting to) keep track of things etc. There's some degree of relief in that.

Now...the wait...
