Check out this hilarious and very sad/poignant song. If could be a boyfriend or girlfriend where it says "take for a ride (in the car)."
It describes how I was, even though I never even suspected he was cheating. I did everything for him, let him boss me around, shame me..curse at me....call me terrible misogynistic names....(I know better now, finally. Found a guy who is patient, loving, caring and treats me like a queen. We are peaceful and have never, ever yelled at each other.) Here's the song: |

Thanks to both of you for replying. So glad there are others "out there" who have loving and peaceful relationships. Since my upbringing, and most of my extended family were not like that, it took decades before I discovered that there is another way to live.
