Looks like my blood pressure is up and wellbutrin is the likely culprit. To test this theory my pdoc is having me stop it for a few days. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Am I going to be messed up from not taking it? Any experience you all have with this would be appreciated.

I'm sort of on it and off it because I forget to take it. I've never had any side effects from not taking it.

Ah. Do you have pretty good access to checking in/ having an alternate strategy discussed that could be set into motion should sudden discontinuation prove problematic?

For instance, would he consider --if it proves problematic-- prescribing a short course of SR form? I take the SR form, 150mg and it gets adjusted from time to time from either zero, 150 or 300mg. Point is, I only have to adjust 150 mg. at a time. A drop down point considerably lower than 300mg all at once. And have never had a problem.

Unless your blood pressure is so high he feels it a greater risk than (possible) discontinuation symptoms, maybe that could be a strategy to consider.
