Mania kills cells. Brain cells die. Memories become more reduced conceptually, making more efficient use of limited means. Memories shape our reality. Our memories are more or less split in two by abstractions, conceptual reductions. Mood states with memories, concepts, attached. Memories of pain and those of joy. We are in charge of writing our own stories, of making things happen for us. We hold the pen, we just need to begin taking charge of what we write, and not act as if the pen is the one that is in charge.

It's complicated. I do believe in predestination, but I also believe in free will.

I believe in the power of prayer.
So yes. In ways I think we can control future. But then there's Gods will. Which is supposed to be the answer when prayers don't go the way we want.
