Well I've had nothing but problems with this prescription and when I went to pick it up they are back to wanting to charge me $50 when I was paying $15. I lost my mind and said f it I'm not refilling it and now I'm back down in a black hole. Dr's office called me back and said they thought they had pricing issue resolved but then pharmacy texted me that prescription is ready but $50 again. I haven't been at work since ladt Wednesday. I have to go get this straightened out with the pharmacy and I just want to cry and sleep all the time. It's been two weeks since I've taken it. I think I straight up lost my mind over $50 and now I've screwed myself all up. I really can't afford $50 a month but I may have to suck it up here. I actually didn't think the latuda was even doing anything for me but I guess I was wrong. I really didn't come out of depression until they added the Lamictal. Maybe it was the combo doing the trick. Anyway that's my story right now. Feeling down and really stupid right now.

How long have you been taking the Latuda? It could be withdrawal you were experiencing, but it could also be your illness coming back. Only you would know this by the symptoms you were experiencing.

On the bright side, it's a lesson learned and never to be forgotten. Taking care of ourselves is always more important than money because without our minds/perception, we wouldn't even be able to view or experience life, and money is just a subset of life.

It's easy to say what someone else can or cannot afford, but if it helps Latuda without insurance is around $1000 a month. My insurance charges $5 for my other prescriptions and $25 for Latuda. Yes, a lot easier to afford. But this year they switched from carrying Latuda to Saphris--which is not at all the same thing. After a hard-fought battle by my insurance intermediary it's covered again. You have my sympathy, but I do think Latuda's worth it if you can swing it at all.

Don't beat yourself up over it. It happens. Part of being human and having BP.
