I get to feeling like there are long stretches with nothing to do. I will have choir tonight but right now it feels like an eternity until we have to leave. Then I start feeling anxious. This extra space scares me. Like there are some sort of monsters in it waiting for me.

I get the exact same feeling. Like when I have nothing to do I get restless, I can't just relax. It is not a pleasant feeling. Hang in there.

Extra space can be terrifying. It gives our minds too much time to wander and that just gets the best of us. Choir sounds like a good way to fill your time. What about any other activities to keep your mind busy that you enjoy doing?

Well, I took a shower and have been watching the history channel. My son has been playing the piano. We're leaving for choir in a few minutes. When we leave choir, we are picking up my daughter. Then I'll get in bed and read the boards and then go to sleep. I hope the boards will keep my attention. I don't know why I was so sleepy today. It didn't start out that way. I got up and got my son to school (missed bus) then got coffee. Thought it was going well. I searched my blog for posts about having depression. Guess there are a lot. I'd forgotten about them. I haven't been depressed in 3 1/2 years it seems. Anyway, choir will be a good thing. But sometimes, choir gets that hole of time in it and then that's not good. I like the time to go evenly, you know, not get the hole where the clock doesn't move.

Sounds like a productive day! It’s the little things that get us where we need to go. I hope the boards help keep your attention too. Reading them helps me a lot. Especially help me not feel so alone. Keep posting and reading. Have fun at choir!

Oh, I get that. Right now when at work I just want to go home, but when I finish work I get so scared of the long evening waiting for me. I tend to fill my time.

Can you read? This gives me some kind of peace. And sports.
