Has anyone here had Transmagnetic Stimulation work for their Bipolar? I am interested in its potential benefits. I'd love to hear a success story.

I had an appointment to investigate it.
It wasn't covered by insurance. $4000 for the first month of treatment. Pdoc said it was temporary and I'd need continuing treatments. I decided too much money.
I have a friend from Dbsa support group that spent $14,000 in 3 months. Then it wore off.
I've suffered bipolar my whole life. Last episode I needed ECT. It brought me back to reality. Drastic measures! The anesthesia was the worst. Plus it stops your brain and restarts it again. Scary stuff.

ECT stops and restarts your brain? I guess that's the point- to rewire it? Four thousand dollars a month- too rich for my blood- especially if you need to keep doing it.
