I got a notification on my phone that I had one script ready for refill. However, it never said it was ready to pick up two days later.

So I went into the pharmacy tonight. They were kind of busy. The lady that helped me was nice and went through all my meds. Now I'm getting a bunch of refills tomorrow (I didn't any to wait) and a few on the 5th and 7th.

She was so nice. I have fewer scripts than I used to but I still have a lot. Nice to have someone helping you out above what you initially said you were there for (one refill). I even am getting my inhalers filled and my migraine meds and my epipen.... She even mentioned that the last thing I picked up was Rexulti and she should know that's for Schizophrenia or depression. No judgements there!

I can never refill my meds. There's always a problem and they have to call my doctor.this time they said they called three times but when I talked to her she said she didn't get any of the messages . I don't know if they are even calling the right person. And when she calls in scripts for me they say they never got the call. I'm thinking of switching pharmacies but there aren't many to choose from around here.

Who is calling- your Pdoc? My Pdoc sends them in via computer. So does my primary. Do your scripts all require prior authorization? Some pharmacies are just better than others. My old one was always out of stock and took forever. So I switched. I hope you can too.

My pharmacy staff is always nice to me too, and I don't get any weird or judgmental looks. Maybe they're too busy looking out for people abusing oxycodone to worry about people on ordinary psych meds.

Mine is typically ok but they are almost out of Latuda when I need it filled so I have to wait a couple days on that. I'm on a lot of psych meds and never felt judged and honestly don't give a crap what they think. I think they're too busy to care what meds strangers take lol

True, Halliebeth. My pharmacy is so busy, they see multiples of each script go out. Except for odd things like Rexulti. They had to order that for me- at least the 3 mg version. I was almost out of my 1 mg (taking 2) and luckily, they got it in for me.

I just use Walmart, it's close to home. I have had several problems with them though. The staff is always nice.

I just picked up four scripts. Two are too soon so I have to wait until the 5th and 7th for those.

I have to use two different pharmacies for my meds. I use one for most of my meds and another for my clozapine (which the other pharmacy doesn't sell because of all the registry crap and red tape). Getting the clozapine is a pain because they need blood work faxed from the hospital labs every time I get a refill. They know me by name there and at the hospital lab.

I think that notification is that you are supposed to reply to it, or go online to check off that you want it refilled; like it's timer is up and can be filled for insurance coverage.

I don't trust the text thing enough to try it, but I I'm getting used to the web interface.

I went in. Two aren't available for refill yet; the rest were. That's why it did that.

I have all my refills at the base hospital pharmacy. I usually have to wait a while because the place is full of retirees (like me). Some stuff takes three days or more to fill after I call it in. At least it's free.

Refilling my scripts is always a hassle. I'm usually at the pharmacy at least once or twice a week. The docs here in NY all use computerized systems, and I've had multiple occasions where the doc has sent something, and they have proof of sending it, but the pharmacy never got the script. The other thing is NY is horrible about controlled substances. They will only do a refill after exactly 30 days. They force you to run out and then pick up your next script on the day after you run out. If you take something first thing in the AM (like my Vyvanse), you're effed until the pharmacy fills it and you can pick it up. I've had to skip my dose at least once for each of the 4 controlled substances I take, just so I have enough to take on the day the next script is getting filled. I hate that. Everywhere else I've lived has at least given a 3-day grace period for you to pick up the next script.

Anyway, back to the pharmacy discussion. The one I use is decent. I wouldn't say they're wonderful, as their website sucks and is almost impossible to navigate. I usually have to get them on the phone to ensure they're filling my scripts on the right day. It's no big deal, just takes a bit of time on my part. They're friendly and most of the staff know me and my meds by name, so I like that part of it.
