Are you going to watch the superbowl?
What are your favorite parts? Food? half time? commercials?

My friend susan and I are going kayaking as an anti-superbowl tactic.
Lake Martin is 35 minutes away and you can rent kayaks.

I won't be watching it, I'm sure most of my friends will be. I'll probably just put on a movie and take it easy.

Yes we will watch it but I'm not a big football fan. We are making potato bacon chowder and chicken wings for food.

Yes, my husband & I will be watching the Superbowl. I like seeing the half-time show. As for teams, I don't really have a favorite. Our 49ers were just horrible this season. But I guess I'm pulling for Atlanta.

We are boycotting the Goodellbowl. The Cowboys got screwed (with Goodell apologizing about the poor officiating) and Lady Gaga is going to put on a political show.
Plus a few of the commercials are going to be attack ads.

I can't watch political crap right now....so triggering watching our citizens attack each other....the US government doing the same. I just want to be bliss but parts want to be in the loop.

Nope, not watching it. Never do.

My dad, mom, sister & her boyfriend, co-workers, etc. are all watching the game. Then again, I live in New England and the Pats are in the Super Bowl this year.

I wish I could kayak, but it's cold as sh#t up here

The game will be on at our house. I am not a football fan, yet hubby is. Several friends are coming by. A couple is driving 5 hours and they are staying the night. I will likely see the half-time show.

Whatever you are doing today, enjoy!

My antenna doesnt pick up Fox. I could hit the gym and watch it there, but that would make a long evening. I'll catch the ads online later.

Definitely will be watching it. Not a fan of either team, but it's the one game I wouldn't miss each season.

The what?? The Stuporbowl?
Lol. I wouldn't have even known of it had it not been for looking at a news site.
Sooooo, no. Oh right, and there's the not having tv part.

(We have a tv, but only for dvds, no service. TV drives us bonkers, and it costs a ridiculous amount of money to be annoyed. I can get plenty of annoyance for free, haha.)

P.S. Tip for the thrifty... on the Friday before stuporbowl, if you are a Costco member, they have SO MUCH food sampling -- way more than usual -- and you could easily try a meal's worth. Now the only trick will be remembering, right? I don't go there anymore, but stumbled into it one year and asked what the deal was.

I just watched the Halftime show. I loved it. It wasn't in your face political, but there was a subtle hint of Lady Gaga saying that America is everyone's country, not just one people's country. Anyways, she also did some flips and was suspended from wires half of the show. Very cool. She sang her hit songs including "Born This Way" and "Bad Romance". I think she did a wonderful job.
