Hi everyone. Just started taking 80mg of Geodon before bed. Also take 200mg of Lamictal at bedtime. I fell asleep on the couch before going upstairs to bed. I have no recollection of it except my husband telling me I got up and went upstairs. This is scary and I was just wondering if something like this has happened to anyone else.

Thanks!

Hello lr1965boo: I'm sorry I cannot really comment specifically with regard to your experience. What I can say is back when I was on psych med's (I no longer am) there would be times when I'd fall asleep on the couch & my wife would have difficulty waking me up. She's have to shake me & yell at me to awaken me! (And I was never on more than a couple of med's at any one time.) I'm quite sensitive to med's I guess.

When I read the lists of psych med's some members, here on PC, are on I think: "Gee... I'd be under the table!" I am an older person, though. So perhaps that has something to do with it. Anyway, given that experience, what you describe does not surprise me. It's probably something that would be worth discussing with your prescribing physician, if you have not already done so.
