I got my ears stretched today from a 6 to a 4 guage. We thought it was going to be to a 2 but they'd guessed wrong that I was a 4 already. Darn because I liked the style they had in 2s better.

Who else here has their ears stretched or piercings in general? I have several piercings too but I was thinking about my plugs as they are still sore from being stretched this afternoon. (I can't even take Motrin or Tylenol.)

I used to have my lip, tongue, and navel pierced. One by one they've had to go away. I took out the navel when I got pregnant. Then I took out my lip ring when I started working as a teacher's aide. I kept the tongue because it wasn't visible. But about halfway through my first year of teaching I got tired of all the inappropriate jokes from my teenage male students, so I said goodbye.

I did however keep my ear piercings. I have three holes in each; two cartilage rings in one and one in the other. All three holes are stretched. 2g on the bottom, then 6g, then 8g. I've had the bottom stretched since I was 17. I feel like it's the last punk rock part of me lol. I wear plugs that look discreet because I have to look professional, but they're all pretty.

What's an example of your plugs? It's too bad you've had to take a bunch of them out.

My only piercing is an industrial piercing in my left ear. It hurt like hell and I think that's why it's the only one I have.

The one that hurt the most was my vertical labret. Needle straight through the lower lip. Ouch! The industrial hurt too- they all did- but I don't remember how much.

My ears are pierced (traditional piercing) and I've had my nostril pierced twice, but ended up letting the second hole close. So I have a single nostril piercing.

Was the second on the opposite side or the same side?

I just have the lobes pierced. I don't wear jewelry enough to warrant any more piercings.
