Today is one year since I came home from the hospital after a transition from Seroquel to Clozapine. Clozapine has made all the difference in my life; even now when I'm grieving and depressed and not coping well with how I feel it could be (and would be) so much worse without clozapine. I know that before clozapine I'd be IP right now and as it is nobody is getting that worried about me.

I'm so glad I reached the end of the line with the meds.

I remember your posts while you were so ill over a year ago. It is so wonderful to hear you have been relatively stable for a year and have found a med that helps so much that you haven't needed hospitalisation even with life circumstances being difficult. So proud of you too as I know you have been working hard on your health. Really hope the next year is even better.

Thanks Wander. I don't remember much of the last several years but I know I was a mess and I am so glad that we found something that takes that away. I've been waiting for this kind of med response since I started ADs in 1998 so I am just so thankful we finally found the right one.

Sounds wonderful!

I'm glad you found something that works for you. I know it can be hard to find the right meds, especially since you mentioned that a lot of your meds have pooped out on you over the years. Here's hoping that clozapine continues to be your "miracle med"
Thanks for this!

I'm so happy for you! You struggled so much. I'm kind of in the same boat - a year since I started emsam and my last round of ect, been mostly stable ever since. Feels good to finally find something that works!

I remember when you went IP and were transferring from Seroquel to Clozapine. I remember you saying that this was your last hope. I'm so happy that it's working for you and that you feel stable! HUGS!
