I was in a two year depression where I was basically on the couch. I tried Rexulti which literally lifted that depression in four days. I haven't been depressed since but am still not up to "normal" (whatever that is). I tire easily, etc.

Anyway, I am having greatly increased anxiety, appetite, and tremors since increasing the Rexulti. I can survive all of this but do I want to? I am already overweight and I now have a terrible fear of driving. The tremors only really bother me during yoga.

I know I should ask my pdoc, but you all have good ideas for when I go in there.
Any help?

Your experience with Rexulti reminds me of mine with Latuda. Latuda has definitely lifted my depression, yet I don't feel up to normal. And I tire so easily.

You're correct; you do need to discuss this with your pdoc. I don't feel safe telling you to stop the Rexulti, since it has helped you quite a bit. But I wonder if you can try a different anti-depressant? Or drop the Rexulti dose and see how you feel?

Are you using the Rexulti as an anti-psychotic? I am on it for that reason. It's my last resort as I've had bad reactions to many others.

How long have you been on this dose ? Sometimes those side effects wear off if you give it a bit of time. Maybe you just need to stay at a lower dose. I personally couldn't handle rexulti at anything but a very low dose, every time I tired to go up I went right back down to the lower dose. I would definitely call your pdoc as soon as you can ! Good luck I know how discouraging it can be to find a medication that finally helps and then experience bad side effects from it.
