So my job has me on my final leave of absense for the next 4 weeks. If I am not better by then I have to resign. I'm currently in outpatient group therapy and should be getting my medication adjusted and properly diagnosed. This morning I'm tired and don't want to be here but I have to remember I chose this so I need to stick with it if I want real help. Because what I was doing before wasn't getting me anywhere. Even my sister had some great words of encouragement for me during this hard time. She's unmedicated bipolar so she understands what I'm going through. I'm optimistic at least.Update

I was in an outpatient therapy support group and it really helped me get back to work. It is tough to stick with but it sounds like you're in the right place. Try not to let yourself be consumed by worrying about your job.

I'm not worried about it that much. I do have a backup plan if I can't return to work. I saw the pdoc there and he said he couldn't diagnose me officially with bipolar because he hasn't seen me long but he gave me information on BPD. He says foot she I have PTSD. I won't be disappointed if my actual pdoc is wrong. But we shall see either way. That's for the encouragement from both of you.
