Yeah, I got really depressed this winter too. There's still snow on the ground where I'm at. But I'm hoping we don't get anymore. Sorry you're struggling. Just remember, it will pass. Hugs

Thank goodness winter is passing here and hopefully my depression will too.

I hope it passes soon for you too.

Yes, I know what you mean. I probably live in an different area from you, though. But I lived in Iowa for four years -- hey, I get it! Yes I do. (Yikes!) We've had more snow this year then ever before. We had another prediction for snow this weekend, but it dwindled away -- the snow never came. Too bad, huh!!!! Fortunately this year I have not been depressed by it. Oftentimes by the time March comes, I've had enough -- and I get real down. But in the summer, I get to Up. The long, long summer days, really bug me! I'll take spring and fall! Yay! Maybe soon...flowers, soon, please.

Walked out to trim my rose bushes, and they were already budding out. I hope they will manage the next cold snap.

My anxiety gets bad when I'm cooped up in the house all the time due to the weather. It's worse than summer sometimes.

I just posted a blog entry yesterday about how much I HATE winter. I really do. I got over this one in December after our first snowfall and have had it up to here with the constant cold, wet, snowy, drippy, gloomy weather. I'm beyond ready for spring and I want it to come yesterday!

I would rather have snow than the summer heat. I can't stand temps above 22 C (72 F). I don't know how those in places like Texas can take the heat.

I love spring, summer, & fall. While I love the first snow, winter kind of sucks out my soul. Not enough sunshine, too cold to spend time outdoors. Ugh. It is all over the place here weather wise. It got up to almost 70 F the other day and now it's back to the 30s... sigh.

I feel the same way spring summer and fall are good but winter
becomes a black hole of depression.

I definitely get depressed Midwinter.. right around Solstice. But the snow is what keeps me from going too far. Skiing is a life saver in the winter for me. When the sun is shining, blue skies and the ground is covered in snow.. everything is so bright and crystalline. And a fresh snow shrouding all the trees in the morning is magic...
