Has anyone pre-ordered this? It's not being released until December.

I have Dr. Phelp's previous book : Why am I still Depressed, but I've lost it. I could use some insight; the pdocs in my small city are not the best, and I value Dr. Phelp's knowledge.

I may just purchase the old one again- I most likely have given my copy away. But I am keen to learn what new information is available for those of us with Bipolar II. Or perhaps Why am I still depressed is not worth re-purchasing because the information is dated..?

Here's the Amazon page for it.

I had not heard of it, but it sounds like it could be valuable. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Everything in his first book is on the webpage. So if you don't want to pay for a new copy it's there and probably much more up to date since the first book came out quite a while ago. But sometimes having book form is better. YOu can probably get it cheap used on Amazon.

I did order this book, and I can't recommend it. Apart from some information on meds that have been released since Why am I still Depressed (see link below) was published, there's nothing new here.

I'm returning my copy.

If Bipolar II is your diagnosis, and have not read the book linked below, I do recommend it. Used copies are available and most libraries have it.

Dr. Phelps is where I found my bipolar diagnosis! Changed my life.

I didn't realize he had any new books out! I will buy A Spectrum Approach to Mood Disorders.
