last fall my Tegretol was upped and i realized when editing and looking at my bird photos that there was faint transparent jittery lines in my vision when looking at the photos with trees or closeups with tree bark. i thought it was my monitor but it did it on the laptop screen, tablet, and phone screen. Then i went off of Tegretol in January and noticed i no longer get those weird vision problems. my eye doctor didn't even have an answer about it. my eyes checked out fine. I had all the usual dilated exam tests done and the OCT.
looking at a stack of magazines or anything with certain patterns would do it was well. It was worse when hiking in the woods looking for owls and the trees in the distance looked the same way and when my heart rate was up it was worse.
anybody had such a thing?

I experienced double vision on Abilify. It's a rare side effect. Fortunately, it disappeared after awhile. I hope your vision improves.

Thanks. That specific issue cleared up after going off tegretol.

That's great! It's a worrisome side effect. I'm glad we're "clear." xo
