I just talked to Pdoc today and saw my case manager. I told both that things are great. So why am I having anxiety again? Rexulti? Fear that things will fall apart?

Are you rarely anxious? Perhaps the med change. Tons of temporary side effects for starting new meds, IME. Check the side effects and see if anxiety is listed.

Rexulti does have anxiety listed I think but I started it back in January- beginning.

Actually, I have this new thing where I constantly check for my keys wallet and purse because I fear I've lost or misplaced them. That's anxiety provoking.

My mind is turning and I can't figure out what to do today. Stay home and clean? One kid is still asleep and it's 1015. Worry? Doing laundry then shower. Church tomorrow.

Laundry, clean your house, take a walk or do some in door exercise, bake something, sit down and plan a week worth of meals ( this stopped me from left overs being tossed out )

Take abstract pics of items in your home, you're a fantastic photographer.

Pick out clothes for church tomorrow. Maybe take that cake.

Is it time to refill you're pill box ?

When all else fails hand scrub you're kitchen floor and / or both , burns energy but I love the feel of super clean floors.

Go to the local pet shelter and spend time loving on a lonely pet

That's awesome advice. I ruminate from OCD and I just sit, spacing out.

OP, hang in there.

Moose, can you limit the rechecking to say, three times? And keep keys in one place, etc. I bet this cropped up as part of the med change. I hope it goes away soon.

I lose things a lot. At home. Get distracted and don't put things away sometimes. It stresses me so I just reframed it..,it's not lost. Just misplaced. I come across it eventually.

Every trip, I forget at least one thing to pack. I used to get so mad at myself. I reframed it. Now it's almost a game because I play We'll-See-What-I-Forgot. Then I go purchase it.

Try to go easy on yourself. Limit the times to recheck.

I keep my keys in the same place but I'm so afraid I've lost them I have to recheck even so. I could never say "it's just misplaced" about my wallet. Everything is in there. I also check my car lights because I've left them on and killed the battery recently.

I also worry I'll lose my car in a parking lot. Like now. I'm out with my son. I hope he helps me.

By the time it's dark we'll be right down the street from home.
