Two days ago it was world's women's day. I went out on the street in Berlin joining the walk for equal rights.

As I am a writer I wrote a post for my blog about my experiences with chauvinism.

Now I got a comment from my aunt's ex and it just sucks so freaking much I basically want to smash his sexist head in via Facebook. He is not a Close Person to me and I am about to let out a speech about that comment that everyone can see. Anyway due to my hypo-aggressive mood I am afraid I might Kind of overreact.

Anyway I think that this is where the struggle really starts, it is not just about proclaiming our rights but as well about speaking up when some 70 year old bastard who believes himself incredibly intelligent attacks them. Comment was like: as Long as there are still women wearing too tight Pullovers nothing will Change about equal rights as if that depended on our Outfit. We are entitled to wear whatever we want just like men do and our rights have nothing to do with it. Chauvinism starts or has already gone too far when men start justifying harassment because of the Dress we Chose. I am SO ****ING angry.

some countries are different from others. I personally try not to see Sex colour of skin or anything like that I do my Best to treat everyone equal. Now that being said there is a different side to this coin. I have opened doors for woman and have had that look like i was being a chauvinist when All I was doing was opening a door, hell I open doors for most people I see just because that is the way I was raised . I have been attacked by a larger woman just because I was a male doing my Job as security evicting her Boyfriend whom was extremely drink and when I defended myself by grabbing her arms to stop her from Punching me more then walked her off the property she also called me a chauvinist.

I was attracted to a woman and mentioned how nice she looked in a normal tone she gave me a dirty look like I was doing something wrong. I backed off.

society right now at least in Canada is really mixed up .
In Canada if a male looks at a woman and she thinks that it is wrong that can be considered sexual harassment.
I Let my female Security guards make arrests and I stand there for support so not to get in there way allot of times the people in the crowd I am keeping back sometimes yell She is a woman she needs help most of those people that are yelling are women them . even though my Guard had the situation fully under control.

again it has allot to do with Culture and Age, maybe even religious belief as to the equality of the Sexes .

When an old 70 years fart "speaks", he's already dead, only nobody told him.

I can well imagine how frustrating the man's words for you to hear but...meh...he's holding on to his last bit of cock-eyed masculinity. With an attitude like his, I doubt he's had the happiest life. Maybe don't allow his judgment to bother you so much.
