The lithium has taken the edge off of the depression but i now feel strange like i am mildly depressed but not deep down in the hole it feels weird i am not used to not being in extreme mood states it feels really weird i guess this is a good thing but it is hard to adjust.

I always feel a bit disoriented when I'm coming out of episodes. Maybe something similar is going on with you? In any case, I hope your depression continues to improve.

I agree. Climbing out of the hole takes a couple days to get used to.

It does take time. Remember, you have also been through the trauma of being very unwell. That really shakes us around. Be gentle with yourself and over the next few weeks you should start to feel more grounded.

i never thought of being unwell as being traumatic but i guess now that i think about it is was kind of scary well actually very scary
