Since the daylight savings time change, I feel like I've physically been hit by a vehicle. I'm exhausted... and not hypomanic anymore - which is sad but good that my impulsive levels have died down.
Anyone else feel almost hungover physically and mentally after hypomania? Ugh. I'm on my 5th cup of coffee at work and I still feel like I could fall asleep. I slept 7 hours last night.

I always feel hungover after a hypo/manic episode too, but I guess it's because our bodies are trying to catch up on some much needed sleep. So then we're all groggy and "out of it" because we're overtired. Doesn't help that depression alone makes you get more sleep, and the time change DEFINITELY doesn't help either.
![]() Do you think you could go to bed earlier? Sounds like you need more than 7 hours a night if you're drinking that much coffee. ![]() |

We read, in our local newspaper, that the incidence of heart attack & stroke rises following the switch.
