does this affect your mood in any way?

are you on guard for either mania or depression

it's usually this time of year I end up in hospital (really bad depression)

this time of year just does not agree with me, and it's now a slippery slope to september

Spring is the best time of the year for me. I love it and am so glad it's here. With the issues I have and the things I'm going through, I'm lucky that spring is here to buffer things. Cold weather is painful and torturous for me and hot weather is almost just as bad. Spring is like medicine.

Yesterday I didn't even notice it changed. Today I think I might have slipped from what was left of my hypo to something dark. So maybe it is that? I don't really stick to a rhythm anyway and right now everything seems to be Spinning out of Control.

Fall is my worst time- usually go manic. But last time I was depressed it was spring.

Spring is relief for me. All winter I use a sad light to help me cope with the lack of sun. Now I can sit outside and take it in. I have been depressed in the spring before but in this moment I just feel like spring is positive.

This is the time of year when I have to be on guard for mania. Summer is my favorite season and that's when I'm really at risk for it. I love the longer days; even now, when there have been few signs of spring so far, I feel that what little natural light available is making me new and giving me hope for the future.
