Sometimes, today in particular, I experience something akin to visions. I'll read a description of a person, for example, and then totally zone out and see an image of that person. Then I'll snap back to reality and the visual is gone. It's not quite the same as a mental image or imagining something in my mind. I really see it.

Does this happen to anybody else? Anyone know if it's normal or a kind of hallucination?
