When I go on dates I am hesitant to tell the person I am bi polar. But then again I don't want to waist anyone's time. If I tell them and they aren't interested they might not know the real me. It saddens me about the stereotypes of bi polar especially when dating. My therapist says to wait on the 3rd date. But again I want to cut to the chase. So I don't waist anyone's time.

I would never disclose that information.

Third date is reasonable. If you want to get to know someone, leading off by telling them you're bipolar isn't the way to do it.

I think waiting until the third date sounds reasonable. Starting off by saying that you have Bipolar Disorder can definitely scare someone away. Build a bit of a foundation first before dropping that bomb.
