lola,
What led you into the phase? Have you been able to identify that? The mind is incredible and it has lots of defense mechanisms. The last time I was delusional was in 2013 after a brain injury, better known as a stroke. I had a real hard time knowing what was real and what was not. ICU appeared to me as a bowling alley. It took time to realize where I was and what was real. To this day, I still remember being in a submarine and pulling into an inlet in Alaska. It is as if it really happened, however my better judgement tells me it was not even close to being real. Oddly enough, prior to the stroke, I always experienced both auditory and visual hallucinations. After the stroke, I no longer have either.

It is so hard to live in a world where delusion and reality are confused. It does make you feel crazy. I hope you are let down easily!
