Anxious. Flashes. Impending. Doom. Wasted day. So much to do. So much I want to do instead. I'm not allowed to be anxious. It's like "suck it up buttercup".

I absolutely detest the phrase "suck it up, buttercup".
Do you have any non-medicinal ways of coping with the anxiety, perhaps something that has worked in the past? |

Ever try gabapentin? It's done a number on my anxiety and isn't a benzo.

No. Nothing. Breathing slowly does not help. My psych staff don't care if im anxious or not. Actually, I am anxious right now that someone is stalking me via phone. They leave long detailed messages. IM supposed to meet a friend at the mall now but I just can't. Just cant. I'd rather eat and sleep.
