now I have been very tired lately ... new bipap machine ... just not right yet ... feel asleep at supper last night ... so there is that ...

so what do you think ... ?

today on the way home a man on a bill board (the image ) ... leaned over and off the sign with his face coming toward me ... I was driving so I went on by and the trees and all the colors were so intense to almost be painful .... to say the least it freaked the he** out of me ...

when I got home took a nap ... I am going to write this off as sleep depravation ... but what do you think ...

I'm not sure but if it continues I would call someone because it is definitely not normal.

I've had similar when very tired, in the days before the BP was an issue. I was on exercise with the Army and hadn't slept in 24 hours, when I saw a parade of black and white minstrels walk past, and then ten minutes later a bright yellow NY Taxi. Get some sleep and see how you feel. Please though, if you're feeling that level of tiredness, have a nap before driving home as tiredness can be as bad as drunkness when driving.
A year after that Army exercise, I was on another one, in a ditch with another guy at night when a figure dressed like a Medieval knight came past. I assumed it was my mind playing tricks on me again so kept quiet until my colleague said 'what the bloody hell was that.' Turned out he'd seen the exact same thing. Really odd!
I hope it sorts itself WireTwister and that you start getting some sleep. Tiredness is a terrible thing and affects the mind dramatically.

the funny thing is I am physically getting more time in bed than ever ... but like last night I knew I was sleepy ... but my wife said I was snooring ... while setting at the table ... that was a suprise ... so far I have not felt sleepy behind the wheel ... but maybe that's an illusion too ..

Well, it sound like you're quite concerned about it, so maybe worth running it by a medical professional just to be on the safe side

Can you get ahold of your sleep doctor? If the bipap isn't working right you need to get it adjusted. It took a couple of times on my CPAP before the doc had the right pressure.

Sounds like it could be sleep deprivation, like you said.
While driving from fla to ny straight through I was driving behind a truck with some paint or rust or something on the back and it morphed into a creepy clown face that wAs staring down at me! Lack of sleep can def cause you to see shiit.
That was about the time i pulled into a rest stop and took a break...

I hope you get it figured out soon. Take care.
