I've decided that after this week I'm taking a mental health day. I'm not going to the gym. I'm taking a nap (especially with the daytime zyprexa dose) and that's all there is to it. I'll get a shower and read a little. I'm not doing housework if i can help it. So there it is.

Sounds like a great idea!
You usually have so much going on.
I hope you enjoy your mental health day.

I hope to do the opposite. DH keeps asking me for a date. Cute, isn't it?
He wants to go to lunch and the movies today. He has the day off.

I also have other tasks to complete this morning.

I'm at Starbucks. I took a shower and got dressed in fresh clothes. I took my meds this morning and now am feeling a little dozey but maybe the coffee will undo that? I didn't go to the gym. I wanted to sleep in. I might make up the gym day tomorrow before Friday lunch. I have my book to finish reading here so that's good.

Sounds fun

What book are you reading?

Glad you're happy. I think we all need a mental health day every once in a while

I'm re-reading "manic". Lol. I think it's rather over the top but maybe that's bipolar without medication. I've had similar things happen but these are exrremes even for bipolar that i can see. Must be nice to be a rich lawyer too.

I've taken mental health days, and sometimes it's the best thing you can possibly do.

I read that one. Some manic behavior but definitely some personality issues going on as well.
I love rereading books lol. Been doing that since a kid.
Glad you had a good day!

I tried to take a mental health half day. Ended up getting caught up at work so it was more like a mental health 3 hours. . . made a world of difference in being a mom this evening. Kudos to you for taking some time to recharge.
