Anyone take this for anxiety? I've been on for past two months and anxiety has been lower. Do you feel euphoric on it?

I take it at bedtime for restlessness/insomnia and every now and then during the day as a prn for anxiety (I took it today for that). I have never felt euphoric on it.

I take it. Makes me a little flat sometimes. But works well otherwise. No euphoria.

If I were to take it with a strong benzo (which I used to do), yes.its euphoric for me. But this is when I'm home and can tailor the side effects according to the prescriptions I have on hand. Alone, gabapentin is nothing special but it sure does reduce those electrical zaps in my feet and hands, etc.

I got put on it at 300mg for restless legs. It was just doubled last week to see if it would help with anxiety at a higher dose. I can't really sense much difference and suspect that 600mg is still too low to help with that.

Euphoric? No. Wish it did, lol.

I know at high doses it made me sort of like "high" and out of it but not exactly euphoric. Worked well for my anxiety unless my anxiety was at a crazy level than only king Klonopin helps that

It maybe made me that way in the beginning. It doesn't make me feel any different now. I take 800mg at night.

I take 300mg three times a day. It doesn't make me euphoric, just calmer.

My husband took one of my pills by accident and he was loopy for the rest of the day.

Guess it shows that it affects people in different ways.

Just curious, how did your husband take your gaba by accident?

I've read so much about people abusing gabapentin and I have no clue why lol. I used to me on 2400mg a day and didn't feel a single thing. However it did keep me off benzos for awhile for anxiety until it crapped out in me. I'm that lucky one that gets stable and the meds stop working lol. Not fun
