I woke up feeling better after taking some Ativan last night before bed. Not so much irritable today as depressed. I've been ugly crying all day and everything is making me sad for some reason. I have no desire to leave my bed but I'm trying. My friend was worried so she called my dr about me. He decreased my lamictal by half a week ago and things have not gotten better they have gotten worse.
Idk what I expect my dr to do. __________________ schizoaffective bipolar type PTSD generalized anxiety d/o haldol, prazosin, risperdal and prn klonopin and helpful cogentin |

i dunno...we all have our down days. you could just be human (not yet a diagnosis in the dsm...). haldol can cause or exacerbate low mood, depression, induce dypshoria, etc. i mean, I think --any-- major tranquilizer can, but haldol is known for causing dysphoria and general low mood, plus all the eps and td, etc. ((not trying to be a bummer bob, btw...)).
antidepressants sometimes make depression worse and can cause depression when used for anxiety, ocd, etc. lowering lamictal seems like it might open up some emotional flood gates and shake things up for a minute (I dropped my lamictal...after a while, my mood was better, but for a while there, things dipped...). I hope things get better in your world. :-) |

Idk. In the last lamictal has been helpful. That's why I was in the old dose to begin with. I struggle with depression almost every may. It sometimes gets really bad but I'm fighting through it. I just don't know how this mer change is going to work out. So far I only feel worse

I am sorry this is happening for you. Not fun.
As Jennifer had mentioned, is there any chance of you getting in touch with your pdoc and explaining what's going on for you? I hope today is a better day! WC |

Well idk what he'd do. I see him again in two weeks. I'm trying to power through. My friend called his office and left a message after I had a breakdown on her yesterday. Idk what will come of that. I've been taking my prn Ativan a lot to get sleep and calm down.

Had to share:
For a few days now I keep hearing a damned frog in he upstairs bedroom. I'm either hearing things or there IS a damned frog up here! I also hear an owl outside my window but there's no trees. And I woke up to someone yelling Peter...here's no Peter here. __________________ schizoaffective bipolar type PTSD generalized anxiety d/o haldol, prazosin, risperdal and prn klonopin and helpful cogentin |

Money is my biggest stressor. I'm dog sitting twice this month so that should help some. I'm stressed about eeeeeeeverything-everything. So I'm trying to just breathe and take Ativan as needed for the panic I'm

I know that feeling well! but it can be major danger for us bipolar folks. especially since you have had a semi recent psychosis.
breathe. worrying does nothing but create more stress and accomplishes nothing. I forget...are you still doing the peer support job? hopefully your pdoc has a better answer than i __________________ I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word Now in the morning, I sleep alone Sweep the streets I used to own I used to roll the dice Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes Listen as the crowd would sing Now the old king is dead! Yeah but I didn't go this week because I've been rather grumpy...didn't want to be rude to them on accident!
Pdocs office called me and told me to take 150ng pristiq....I was like I already do.... They're gonna call back. __________________ schizoaffective bipolar type PTSD generalized anxiety d/o haldol, prazosin, risperdal and prn klonopin and helpful cogentin |
