Yet again, I'm trying to contact a large organiztion. It has, of course, and "online presence." But they don't have a phone number OR for the ones that do, they either put me on Hold or offer me the opportunity to receive a call back. I HATE THIS. I HATE THESE PEOPLE AT THE TOP WHO MAKE THESE POLICIES. I get enraged every time!!!!!!!!

I understand that. The other day I was helping my mom get her tv, phone and wi-fi back on-line and waited for 45 minutes (I'm very impatient btw)on the phone waiting. I got a live person who told me to download their app, diagnose the problem and do what I could to fix it. I didn't raise my voice or use any curse words but I sure wasn't diplomatic. I was livid. I get it. Sorry you had the experience you did.

Why do you get mad at every organization you don't care for? It's simple, don't buy their products or use their services. Problem solved, no ranting necessary.

If it was just one time or infrequent, it would be normal to get upset. But this seems to be a major theme in your life, including not too long ago when you smashed your phone with a hammer. Might be time to consider getting help for an anger issue. Just a suggestion.

Dear BioChe, Thanks for your suggestions. First let me say that I agree with Jennifer. These are not usually organizations I can avoid. Phone company; cell company; organizations that manage other organizations. As for anger issues, well, it's been a problem all my life. I have ALL the "tools" to deal with it, including meds. My therapist and I have been working on it for about ten years. I even went to an anger management class for women, years and years ago. But I was the only one there who attended voluntarily! The others were mandated by the courts to be there! They were people who had beaten the kids so severly that the kids had been removed by the courts. , etc etc. Ugly people indeed. I could not relate to them, and they could not relate to me. I have an idea about another org I could check with though. I'll try it.

I can certainly understand the frustration with companies you can't avoid. Best of luck with your counseling, I'm sure the awareness and tools provided are helping. Sounds like you're on the right track, sorry you feel the frustration.

I make all the phone calls because my husband just can't deal with being on hold.

Is this a call you have no way to avoid as I saw someone mention this organization isnt something you care about? Im just confused I have not read your other threads so Im not in the loop, I currently just dont have the mental ability to read a long thread.

I hope that whatever this is works out for you and you get whatever it is you need

Dear Luvyrself, That's a good idea, to have a friend deal with it. My sister said she would BUT I don't really want her to. The reasons are that she is totally frazzled and stressed out by her own lifestyle. She has no intention of changing to become more calm, says she like her life that way. Plus, I have a suspicion that if she did a lot of things "for" me, she would feel I have an obligation to her, and/or would guilt trip me. Our communication is not good anyway, and we are frequently trying to work out a way to not tick each other off.

Another thing about asking another person to help. I never know what to expect when I call a company or representative, so I get a big "surprise" when I call. By then, I'm suddenly enraged.
