So yesterday I was ill stomach issues and was reading up at first I got scared as my stool was black but then read it can happen from eating Oreos. Now it was a relief but still wonder do I have some super airborne virus? Am I overreacting?

I felt I was a hypochondriac once. Dr. Google sent me over the edge.

It was explained to me like this, if you are convinced you have something specific, like cancer, even after the doctors rule it out, you're a hypochondriacs. I was told I'm not a hypocondriac because I don't focus in on something and become certain I have it despite evidence. I'm not convinced and am sure I'm a hypocondriac. Therefore, I'm a hypocondriac about being a hypocondriac.

Iron can make your stool black or green from personal experience. Also, I once lived on vanilla cupcakes for 3 days and had pure white stools.

Beware Dr Google, you can diagnose yourself with everything from a club foot to pregnancy from a simple cough. If something really is of concern this would best be addressed with seeing your family doctor. I think those of us with anxiety and mood related disorders are more readily apt to jump to conclusions.
