Hello all! I just need some advice. I am currently unemployed but looking for a job. Something I can handle. Nothing fast paced or multitasking. Any suggestions?

When I was in college I worked at Starbucks and was promoted to shift supervisor. Depending where you live managers make a decent amount and they have great benefits and all you need to do is maintain 20 hrs a week.

Try as I might, I can't think of a job that isn't fast-paced and/or requires multitasking. That's one of the reasons I'm on disability---I can't handle any kind of work because all jobs are stressful. Even being a gas jockey is fast-paced and requires multitasking. I don't know why employers brag about that; they seem to think that fast-paced work is actually a desirable thing, when what it does is suck the life out of people. I'm aware that some workers like things that way, but I think the majority of us would prefer work that lets you breathe.

That being said, I wish you the best in finding a job you can handle. Good luck.

I don't know about this personally, but aren't there vocational counselors you can seek out for people with disabilities? They might be able to set you up with something manageable.
