Hi All,

I'm losing faith in my ability to find someone and form a healthy relationship. It has been the same pattern over the last 7 years: every few months, I sign back on to the dating sites - after talking to some and meeting with few, I do occasionally click with a great woman...until my insecurities overwhelm me and I make up an excuse to end it (rarely do I exceed 4 dates). Plus, it's a self-perpetuating cycle of fear that's only worsening as I go longer and longer without meaningful dating/relationship experience.

Anyways, I feel I hear the same old platitudes from psychologists and was hoping that your experiences would be helpful. If you've found someone, how did you overcome these challenges? I would also love to hear from others "unlucky in love" - maybe sharing our experiences can be helpful.

I appreciate it.
