...of tea! Strong black tea. I do not drink alcohol anymore.
It's not a good medicine for me. Anyways...poor me.
What a mess I got into. My bipolar disposition is greatly responsible for getting me into this predicament...that and my PTSD.

But mostly it is my HUMAN (head up my *** naughtiness) that gets me into trouble. That being said, I will not blame anybody else, but God. Yes it"s always God's fault I get into conundrums, perplexities, dilemmas, complications, cans of worms, hot water and eft up situations.

God is responsible for getting me into this mess, but I am responsible for getting out of it. What a crazy Universe

I'm a black tea drinker as well. (I used to favor first flush Darjeelings. But prices for these have gone through the proverbial roof. So now I'm drinking teas from Sri Lanka & Nepal.) I also no longer drink alcoholic beverages. I have mostly just withdrawn from the world at this point. But prior to that I always seemed to end up in one mess after another... sadly much of it created by myself, I'm afraid. As the line from the Jimmy Buffet song "Margaretville" says: "Some people say that there's a woman to blame. But I know... it's my own damn fault."

What seems to work for me is if I blame myself (because it usually is my fault) and ask God to help me get out of it. YMMV

I believe there is a God but I think we all have to kick claw and fight our way out of a mess and make amends.

Least thats how I deal with my life when its messier.

Maybe you are meaning to jest, and I say that because my own experience is exactly the opposite. I have never had a problem unless *I* was there, and then our Maker gladly took over the management of my life after I had dropped the shovel at the bottom of the slimy pit I had dug all by myself.

Enjoy your tea!

It's like this...
There are more things out of my control than things I have control over.
I have limited knowledge and a limited perspective.
Therefore, When I get into situations I am practically blind.
To clear up the mess that causes others and myself suffering, I am forced to gain the sight and strength to make things right.

I understand what you mean though and I thank you for your kindness and support. I am feeling alone now and you and other people who reply make me feel less lonely.

I agree...I certainly need God's help to get better and make things right, but it takes a lot of hard work on my part. Thanks for your support

Same here, and that is why I have turned away from self-reliance and toward spiritual re-direction.
