I just hope to god this will pass and I won't need a med change. I've been doing the best I have in years since adding lamictal. But today I'm in a horrible mood. Almost feels mixed. I'm severely agitated and everything is pissing me off. Is it normal to still have mood swings now and then?

Until you've been sober for over a year and have worked on the BPD with a T you will continue to have mood swings. I'm glad you are having this much stability right now with only meds.

It seems you are making progress, even though you have intermittent mood swings. Life gets bumpy and challenging in general; everyone has some days that aren't the best.
![]() I think it's more realistic to look for markers of "progress, not perfection." We'll never reach "perfection." Nobody does. Keep on doing your best. ![]() ![]() WC |

Thanks guys. I think I was just having a bad day but I feel like my Wellbutrin is making my moods worse. It's the only AD I can take so I may be screwed there

Yes, good and bad days are a part of life in general. Moods will change.

I have mood swings even when I'm stable. I think that's normal...everybody has bad days. Best wishes.
