I hate that medication is a waiting game.
If you need to up your dose, it takes seemingly forever. If you need to change medication to something new, that also takes seemingly forever. If you need to lower a dose, even worse because of withdrawal effects Waiting game, a terrible one at that. |

Yeah I was thinking about this the other day. I wish all meds worked as fast as the benzo's.

Yeah, the timecourse of meds definitely sucks. Fully in agreement with the OP.

I am shocked by the time some here must wait for a simple med adjustment or a med change. I am very fortunate, my pdoc is "on call" 24/7 and responds quickly.
On top of that, many meds need time to work at any given dose. Yes, it's a waiting game. I find this to be true with other areas of medical specialties as well. ![]() ![]() WC |

I call it the same thing too!!
Also really good at waiting for depressive episodes to end. Got to have unlimited patience in this business.

I'm pretty fortunate that my pdoc is very responsive as is my system to most medications. Definitely a waiting game though with some of my other med adjustments.
