Oversleeping & missing doses

Last night, I fell asleep early (around 9pm, actually), when I normally fall asleep around 11:30pm.

Well, since I fell asleep, I missed my medication doses. I didn't even have a phone alarm to wake me up because my phone had died sometime between 9pm and 11:30pm.

I don't want to OD by taking too many of my meds in one day, so I took ONLY my Rexulti @ 5am. (Antipsychotic is, by far, the most important for me!) The rest of my meds will be taken tonight as normal.

*sigh*

...just when I was doing well...

I'm sorry you missed your dosage. Most people have had this experience. Please be gentle and compassionate with yourself and just get back on the regimen. Best wishes.

Half life on rexulti is 91 hours, so the serum level curve shouldn't be effected that much by taking it early or late.

You're doing your best so don't be hard on yourself.

Do your meds make you drowsy? If not take them at 9, you can always stay up later but you probably won't go to bed earlier than that.

I also oversleep. So I might take my Seroquel at 9PM and then don't take my morning meds until noon. But sometimes I forget too. Oversleeping is not fun.

I'm a nightmare for taking my meds I haven't took mine in 5 days and I'm @@@@@ing myself. I have already been off them for a week and a half this month. My peeps in my life won't be happy with me and all I can say is I forget them cause I'm sleeping sometimes longer and going to bed sometimes earlier. But mostly I'm forgetting them.
