I'm home! What a relief.

Hospital was definitely the right choice. I was very suicidal and so I was immediately put on one-to-one (as in, supervision by a mental health worker at all times). This made me feel safe and taken seriously. One-to-one lasted 4 days-ish and then I hung around on the ward like a normal patient for a while.

Here are the stats... suicidal thoughts nearly gone... psychosis about the entity nearly gone... depression mild. Diagnoses schizoaffective and OCD.

Thanks to everyone for the support leading up to this. Your advice was invaluable.

I'm only a day out but I'm having suicidal thoughts again. I feel like I am in control though and won't act on them. But still it's scary that they're still happening

A hospital pdoc told me once when I was being discharged while still not well but not expected to be well for a few weeks because of what I was going through that there is nothing wrong with going back and that I'd be surprised how many people do go back within a few days of going home. Don't forget that is an option and they would rather help you when things aren't that bad than have you get really sick. (I didn't go back in and should have, for the record).

Yes... hospital is always there as an option. It's on my radar for sure. But I'm hoping I can make do. Thanks for responding beyondtherainbow.
