I have been very low and not seeing a future in my life, but I realize this is all a choice and a matter of perspective. I came to the conclusion that I have to try my best to recover and I have to fight for my life. I will beat this thing and be victorious.

I think that's the right attitude. Just don't expect miracles (overnight).
It reminds me of the 2015 Doctor Who episode "Heaven Sent".
