I am exhausted all of the time. It is unusual for me to be up for the day (I get out of the bed to care for my kids only) before 12 or 1. Even then, I don't do anything. I hardly clean or take care of anything at all around my house. I don't feel depressed but I never get off the couch.
My doctor has actually been decreasing my seroquel as I've been stable and we are down to 500 mg. It hasn't helped. At the same time, she is increasing my depakote just because she wants me further into the therapeutic range. My mom seems to think that my tiredness has gotten worse with this increase. Has anyone ever had extreme fatigue as a result of depakote? What was the solution? A new med seems like an impossibility because I haven't been this stable (assuming I am not depressed) for some time. Input?

I was on depakote and seroquel together (with a few other meds) and was pretty heavily sedated. I took provigil and then nuvigil and those let me work while taking the meds. I found depakote much more sedating than seroquel but when I changed to Seroquel XR I did a lot better as well.
