Hello everyone! My sleep lately has been terrible. Last night I didn't go to sleep until like 5am and the night before that at like 4:30am and so on. It's been like this for awhile now. So I was sitting on the couch last night and I almost replied to what I thought was my husband talking to me. It was the craziest thing ever. I know he was sleeping in our room but I heard his voice saying something to me. I don't remember or can't recall what it was but I heard a voice that sounded like his. I even got up to check and he was still sleeping. I heard voices a few times after that too. Maybe 3 or 4 times. This has never happened to me before. I don't know if I should be worried or not. Anyone experience this before? I don't know if it's because my sleep is messed up, I don't get much sleep but I feel fine in the day, not overly tired or anything. Functioning normal.

I think you should seek help re hearing noises in particularly hearing voices. I hear things when I am unwell. The sleep is an issue for me if I am unwell too... too much or too little. Maybe talk to your support team?

My current therapist knows about the sleep issues. I just experienced the hearing things for the first time ever last night. It literally sounded like someone was talking to me.

I hear voices. Sometimes they're in my head and feel like they are going to crush my brain and other times they are outside my head, like right outside my window or outside my bedroom door. Usually I can't understand what they are saying. But other times I hear a radio station and can hear them talking and what they're saying and hear all the lyrics to a country song I've never heard - I do not listen to country music! I've heard a man verbally abusing a woman while i was in my car and that was scary. But I think this only occurs when I'm under a lot of stress in my life.

Is it possible your husband was talking in his sleep? Both my husband and I talk in our sleep as do our children. A few months back I guess I really did hear voices. It was late in the evening/early morning around 2am I think....I was sitting on my back patio and a car pulled up in front, some people ran up the side of my neighbors house and started talking to me through the fence saying all kinds of horrible stuff about me and things I've done that I'm not proud of and can't write here. Then they ran off, got in the car and skreeched away. It was horrible.....I was delusional at the time and I ran into my hubby begging him to wake up and telling him what had happened....he said I imagined it. How could I imagine such a thing in such vivid detail? I don't know....it seems unlikely that could have happened I guess but it felt very real and was scary. I've had a few other times when I may have imagined people saying things.....when I commented on what the person said they denied saying anything but I really believe they did say it. Who knows those. I've learned to ask for clarification. I need a body cam with audio to wear 24/7, that way I can watch and listen to what went down and have proof.

Oh Elsa I'm sorry you go through that. I did go check to see if he was calling me but he was asleep and he sleeps with the door closed. I have to go through the kitchen to get to our bedroom from the living room. Ive never heard him talking in his sleep. He snores sometimes. It was as if someone was standing close to me talking. Very crazy. I guess it could have been the kids maybe but they were sleeping as well. I think if it happens again I'll call my T. I don't see her alone very often as it's group based.
