My (our) 38th wedding anniversary today. Not bad for someone with BP. Lots of ups and downs. We didn't exchange gifts or do anything special, but it was a nice day. Thinking of buying a huge diamond ring for our 40th. The one I bought for our wedding cost less than $250. We were both 21. She's put up with a lot and deserves something nice. I need to start doing some freelance work so I can save up for it.
How long have you been married? Just curious. |

I was married for just shy of 36 years. I miss my husband so much. He died 14 months ago from pancreatic cancer. Our wedding anniversary is this month and I'm going to have to find some way to distract myself. The first one without him was horrible.

I was married for almost four years. My husband died one month before our fourth wedding anniversary. The fourth on was a blur because I was still in shock. The fifth one was so hard because I had always planned that we would go back to our honeymoon spot in Vermont for a weekend. That was tough. This year wasn't as bad.

14 years, almost 15.

My husband and I have been together 15 years.....lived together 14 and married for 11.

Was married 5 yrs but only together for 3 of the 5. He was abusive, I separated but gave him time to choose therapy and to change his abusiveness, he didn't.
