Found out my bike was stolen today. I can't afford to get a new one. It might not sound like a big deal, but for me it is. On top of all else that is going on this is just too much for me. I'm so tired of problems...

That would be a big deal for most people, and I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. Are you able to walk/take the bus to get around for now?

When you are able to buy another bike in the future, I encourage you to take precaution to make sure it isn't stolen again.

That's gutwrenching. I have always loved my bikes, no matter which one, road bike or cyclocross. One was stolen when I was doing grad school. They even tool the lock. Sometimes it happens despite our best efforts to avoid it.

I'm so sorry this happened to you, Matt. I know how you feel.

Having things stolen is a violation. It hurts much deeper than what people can see. I am very sorry for your loss.

I'd be very upset if one of my bikes were stolen. I am very attached to each of them. I was definitely a "bike freak" when I was younger and had fewer medical challenges.

So sorry, Matt.

So sorry to hear that your bike was stolen. It would be a big deal for anybody. I hear you. It seems like one problem after another. Thinking of you.

I had my beautiful bike stolen a few years ago and it broke my heart and didn't help my spirit, either. I am so sorry about your bike. Wow. That is a major loss.

I know several people who rely on their bicycles for transportation. I hope this wasn't the case for you. That's a bad experience, Matt.
