I really like new Dr!! He asked lots of questions and has agreed to let me try Wellbutrin. I stay on the Seroquel and trileptal and Lamictal and Busbar. I'm on 2 mood stabilizer so I feel like I'll do ok with the Wellbutrin.

He told me disability would be hard to get, that they would probably deny me first couple of trys and it would be like working a full time job and stressful trying to get and I might as well work. I'm going to try and go back Monday. He is going to complete the fmla papers and call me when they are ready to pick up. We shall see how this all goes. All i can do is try.

Thanks for the update. I've been concerned about you and wondered how you were doing. I'm glad you like your doctor. Good luck getting back to work. If you find that you can't continue to work, you can get help applying for disability. True, it will take time to get approved but it doesn't have to be difficult or time consuming.

I'm also happy you've found a pdoc willing to listen.

If you want to file for disability, there is legal help available.

Thanks guys, I've gone through 16 pages of reviews. Of course they were mixed. Some said anxiety increased and side effects were terrible. Lots said they noticed right away that they were more motivated, quit smoking and drinking, lost weight. I'm keeping my hope up that this works. I need motivation and feeling like I want to get out if bed. I'll be taking 100 mg in the mornings

I'd add go for the disability. When I applied I was approved immediately and even got paid for the weeks prior to my filing. My doctor initiated the application process so that may have expedited the whole deal. Worst case, you're denied but you won't know til you try.

Some people have side effects others don't. The only thing you can really do is find out what works for you. I'm on seroquel, it helps me a lot. There have been side effects, but the help is worth more than the side effects.... for me. Everyone has a different experience.

I quit smoking on wellbutrin. In the beginning you get a burst of energy but after a week that goes away. Then you just kinda settle in minus the smokes with me.
