Am I the only person here who cancels appointments?

Are those in your life (professionals or others) somewhat tolerant of this?

I do reschedule...

Somehow in the moment.. for today

Aww (((fuzzybear))) you're not the only one who cancels appointments...
Am contemplating doing the very same thing with next Psych appt. Don't suppose MH team will like it... but tough.

I've had to cancel and reschedule my last two ECT appointments. (Funny, I can't recall any further back.) It feels like I do that all the time. I live two hours from the hospital where I get it done, so it's tough enough to find a driver willing and able to spend the entire day driving me there, sitting and waiting for me to come out of recovery, then driving me home. Often, though, someone says, "Sure, I can do it," but something comes up and they have to cancel on me which means I'm often left with no driver and needing to cancel on the hospital. Fuzzybear, you are not the only one rescheduling. Don't worry.

I rarely cancel and reschedule appointments. Only if something unexpected comes up (car breaks down, physical illness) or way in advance if I anticipate and issue. One of the few things I'm good at. How I feel mentally has no bearing.

I seldom ever cancel medical appts and unless I am literaly in bed due to pain I push myself to go where ever I might have agreed to go..

Yes, I cancel a lot and if anyone hurt as much as I do (mental and physical stuff) they would cancel too.

my reasons for canceling are usually pretty lame.

their are times, of course, where I can not actually do the appointment because of lack of motivation, say

but their have been times where I've said, can we reskedule because, well, this afternoon I want to watch the wizard of oz, orr finish my book.

I do it all the time and professionals get so mad sometimes

my last cancelation was due to being on a real high.

I rang up all giggly with a fairy voice saying, I don't need you anymore, and that was that

In my life I hardly ever cancelled appointments. I hace been lucky that I could not arrange my own schedule in order to,make the appointmtnt. However, that was before my MI bacame much worse ending up olacing me on disability. Now there has been more appointments that I had to reschedule.
